Problem:
An OEM’s magnetic imaging equipment had a significant heat load of 10kW. This created challenges for their customers, as many of their facilities could not tolerate that level of heat dissipation. Additionally, while the OEM was an expert in their industry, they did not have in-house chiller expertise and their internal resources were being consumed with managing chiller support.
Solution:
Haskris proposed a unique partnership arrangement to work directly with the OEM’s end user customers. We would profile the installation sites and ultimately design tailored chiller configurations that would optimally serve both the OEM equipment and the end user facility.
Today, Haskris is fully responsible for their chiller program. End users find the right solutions with our flexible design capabilities to develop solutions that minimize the effects of heat and noise into their facilities. And the OEM can focus their internal resources on other priorities while delivering excellent service to their customers.

- More efficient resource allocation. When Haskris began managing the chiller program directly with end-user customers, the OEM’s internal resources were freed up to focus on higher priority initiatives that were more aligned with their core engineering expertise.

- Delivery of more advanced, cost-effective solutions. Haskris engineers provide consultation and design to provide the most cost-effective chiller solutions for the end user site to efficiently dissipate waste heat. We design custom chillers to accommodate the customer’s site, which eliminates the need for site modifications to accommodate the chiller – a far more expensive, time-consuming option.
